My Testimony

I am thankful to be part of the Body of Christ, and thankful to God for all that he is doing among his people. My family has been in the message for many years. My mother’s family were regular attendees of the tabernacle and Bro. Branham‘s meetings. My father’s family were part of the message in eastern Canada since the earliest days that the message came to that area. I have been privileged to be in truth my entire life. My family moved to Indiana from Canada in 1990, and I have been in attendance at Faith Assembly ever since. It is by God’s grace and mercy that he has kept me through the years and opened my eyes to see his truth. When we first moved, we lived at my grandmother’s house. One day while I was at her house playing, church music was playing on her stereo and as I listened the spirit of God came strong on me and I began to weep and cry. It scared me and ran and hid under her bed. My mother had noticed, and after it passed and I came back out, she told me – “don’t be afraid, that’s the Lord.” And from that day I always knew when Lord was calling.

I thank God for the privilege to grow up in Faith Assembly Church, and to be able to hear the word of God preached in power by men led by the Holy Spirit. In 1997, I began to come under conviction knowing I needed to give my heart to the Lord. One day, while praying by the side of my bed and calling to the Lord for help, he spoke to me and said “How can you ask me for help when you have not given your life to me?” I felt miserable and wept, and I asked how to give my life to him, and he said “Repent and be baptised in Jesus name”. After that I went and was baptized. The day following my baptism I went and again praying beside my bed, I said, “thank you Lord for saving me”, and immediately I felt so warm and happy on the inside, and I received his Holy Spirit.

The Lord continued to deal with me, and it was not long and I came to know he had placed a calling on my life. For many years, I kept it to myself and tried to run away from it. The devil wants to convince us that we are nothing, but a day comes when by faith we can take hold of the promises of God, and standing on God’s word we can go boldly in the name of the Lord. In 2013 I had an experience with the Lord and he let me know I could not run away from his calling anymore. I placed it in his hands, and let him have his way and he began to lead me and show me things. To him be the glory, for he alone is worthy of praise and honor. These are the last days, the end is at hand. Great and mighty things are going on in our midst, and the hand of God is moving in great ways.

John 15:15 – Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Luke 10:19 – Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

I count it a joy and great responsibility to stand for God’s truth in these, the last days. I pray that all God’s saints will stand strong in the Lord and power of his might, standing on the firm foundation, which is the rock of revealed truth that has been revealed to us by the Holy Spirit of God. How blessed we are.
